Alize is an extremely sweet, loving, cuddly dog. She is approximately 3-4 years old, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on prevention, and up to date on all vaccines. She was rescued about a year ago after her previous owners abandoned her when they were evicted from their trailer home in Houston. She was pregnant, malnourished, and had obviously been abused because she was very scared. After finding wonderful homes for all of her puppies, we began her rehab and she has by far surpassed all of our expectations. In her time with us, she has become crate trained, housebroken, learned to walk on a leash, basic commands, how to "play" (she was scared of toys before) fetch and tug-o-war, and she is currently learning how much fun swimming can be. She is fantastic with our two children (ages 3 and 7) and does well with our other dogs and cat. A fenced yard is a must! She does well outside during the day, but her favorite place is indoors spending time with her favorite people! She would do best in a fairly quiet home as she is still a little timid with strangers, but would make a wonderful addition to almost any family. A small adoption fee will be asked in return for a full bag of food, toys, blankets, chews, her crate, and a 6 month supply of heartworm prevention. Give her a chance! and I know she will melt your heart just like she has ours.
